They have free live phone support where others may charge by the minute, no credit card is required for set-up, and it is not contractual. The billing is month-to-month and can be automatically withdrawn from a bank account for free. It is not ad supported so the member will have a LocalNet experience that is ad free and it is webmail accessible. They provide the member with a personal start-up page, personal online calendar, and newsgroups access. The software can be downloaded online or requested on CD-ROM by phone. LocalNet provides access numbers in all United States except Alaska, Hawaii, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, and New Mexico.
