February 23, 2007, Newsletter Issue #53: Get free dial up with NetZero.

Tip of the Week

In addition to pay by month accounts, NetZero offers free internet accounts. The account offers a free email address, 2MB of email storage, online email access, junk mail filters, email virus protection, search engine, customer and technical support online, a personalized start-up page, plenty of access numbers to ensure a local connection, and compatibility with other instant messaging services such as Yahoo and MSN. The major difference between the free internet account and the paid internet accounts offered by NetZero is that the free internet account limits its user to 10 hours of online access per month. This includes all free accounts sharing the same phone line or computer. So, if the consumer requires more than 10 hours of web time per month they would be better off paying $9.95 for a Platinum account with unlimited internet access or $14.95 for high speed dial-up with unlimited internet access through NetZero.
