Netscape also provides free online customer support for billing and technical questions and free phone support for billing issues only. If the user requires a live representative the charge is $10.00 per resolved issue and they have 48 hours to take care of the problem. Considering that some cheap internet services providers charge $1.95 per minute the $10.00 per resolved issue charge does not seem so bad. Consumers can sign up online by downloading the software from their site or by phone and a CD-ROM will be mailed to them.
