They offer a free dial up account with up to 10 email addresses, a 56K connection speed, 15MB of email space per address, the service is webmail compatible so email can be accessed from any computer, and the servicer is POP, IMAP, and SMTP compatible for use with standard email programs such as Outlook, Netscape, etc. While the service does not bombard the user with pop-ups and banner ads the service does use SaveNow software to provide advertisements similar to the sites the user goes to. The free dial up account can be signed up for online but may take up to 10 days for activation as it needs to be approved by their sponsors.
